A donation will help breed and train guide dog puppies so they can one day be the eyes of a New Zealander who is blind or has low vision.
The Blind Foundation Guide Dog centre mainly breeds Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers and purpose-bred first crosses. Known for their intelligence and steady, friendly nature, these breeds make excellent guide dogs.
They also breed German Shepherds & Standard Poodles in small numbers. What’s interesting about Standard Poodles is they may be used in a home where someone is allergic to dog hair.
These adorable puppies have a big future ahead of them!
